As a longtime resident of South Florida, Richard’s interest in real estate developed at an early age as he witnessed firsthand the growth of the region.  His fascination with the real estate industry led him to study planning, business and real estate development at Florida Atlantic University and to work in both residential real estate sales and marketing during his college years.  After taking positions with both residential and institutional developers after college, Richard re-entered residential real estate sales with a boutique firm based in Miami. He expanded the firm’s presence northward into Broward and Palm Beach counties, helping hundreds of people find homes to purchase or lease throughout the area.  Richard took that knowledge of brand expansion and combined it with his experience in the tri-county residential real estate market in order to become the founding broker of Ocean Rock Realty.
